Oyerinde: Ugolor, Nine Others Docked for Murder

The Police investigation into the murder of Olaitan Oyerinde, Principal Private Secretary to Governor Adams Oshiomhole took a new twist Friday in Benin City as suspects in the murder were formally arraigned before an Oredo Magistrate Court on eight count charge.

Those arraigned before Magistrate Francis Idiake were Garba Usman Maisamari [39], Danjuma Musa [23], Muritala Usman [27], Moses Asamah Okoro [32], Auta Umaru Ali [26], Wilfred Iserhienhi [30], Hassan Aliyu Babete [44], Umaru Adamu [33], Idris Abdulhamidi [24] and a Benin based human rights activist, David Ugolor [42] allegedly fingered by one of the suspects as the one that offered them N20 million for the murder of Oyerinde.
